Everett (E.J.) has been a Registered Psychologist since 2006. He has a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University in Langley, BC.

While he has experience in a number of practice areas, Mr. Vroon’s specialty in trauma counselling has become his main area of practice. Specifically, Mr. Vroon is an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) Therapist, and works extensively with survivors of trauma. This population includes first responder groups (EMS, Firefighters, Police, Military, etc.) as well as private clients who wish to move past either developmental or situational traumas.

E.J. has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of challenges and special needs. He takes an evidence-based, best-practices approach to counselling, and enjoys facilitating acceptance, growth, and change in his clients. He has also had the opportunity to teach undergraduate students, served as President of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta, and present at conferences and workshops.
